The Process

1. Initial Assessment:

  • Comprehensive health assessment, including medical history, current weight, height, and body composition analysis.
  • Evaluation of goals and expectations for the program you choose.

2. Personalized Meal Plans:

  • Customized meal plans tailored to individual preferences, dietary restrictions, and calorie requirements.
  • Nutritional guidance to promote a balanced and healthy diet.
  • Portion control strategies.

3. Exercise and Physical Activity:

  • Personalized fitness plans that consider fitness level, preferences, and any physical limitations.
  • Recommendations for cardiovascular workouts, strength training, and flexibility exercises.
  • Guidance on how to increase daily physical activity.

4. Behavioral Counseling:

  • Counseling to address emotional and psychological aspects of weight loss, such as stress, emotional eating, and self-esteem.
  • Strategies for setting achievable goals and overcoming obstacles.

5. Support and Accountability:

  • Regular check-ins with me to track progress and provide motivation.
  • Tracking tools, such as food journals or mobile apps, to monitor food intake and exercise.

6. Education:

  • Informative resources and workshops on topics like nutrition, cooking, and healthy eating habits.
  • Workshops on understanding food labels and making informed food choices.

7. Long-Term Maintenance:

  • Strategies for maintaining weight loss and preventing relapse.
  • Gradual transition to a balanced and sustainable diet and exercise routine.

8. Holistic Approach:

  • Consideration of the individual's overall well-being, including stress management, sleep, and hydration.
  • Integration of mindfulness and relaxation techniques.

9. Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Regular assessments to track progress and make necessary adjustments to the plan.
  • Celebrating milestones and successes along the way.

10. Safety and Health Focus:

  • Emphasis on safety, with regular health check-ups and medical supervision.
  • Education about potential risks associated with extreme dieting or rapid weight loss.

Our Philosophies

  1.  Bio Individuality: Each client that I work with is different. I believe that there are determining factors that make us different and require different approaches to nutrition. Some of these factors include: dietary restrictions, lifestyle, family structure, religion, work schedule, food likes and dislikes and previous nutrition education. Each client that I work with is given a specific set of information, meal plans and nutrition tools that is right for them. Nutrition is not one-size fits all.
  2. Creating Sustainable Change: A lot of programs on the market are filled with unrealistic diets, workouts and changes that do not create sustainable change. My goal with all of my clients is to create habits that will be used for the rest of their life. This is not a FAD nutrition plan; this is sustainable nutrition that works for everyone.
  3. Do No Harm: I would never ask my client to do anything that I would not do myself. I would not make a meal plan that I would not follow, I would not create a basic workout routine that I would not follow and I would not ask my client to change anything in their life that I would not change myself.
